Shelly Shmelzer Estate Agent at Israel Sotheby’s International Realty. Shelly, a native of Ukraine, immigrated to Israel in 1973. Following her tenure at the Foreign office of the IDF, she obtained her BA degree in Business Management. She began her career in finance in 1990 at Bank Mizrahi where she was promoted to management and stayed until 2002. She entered the real estate mortgage sector in 2002 as an executive with Discont Bank’s mortgage division. She advanced to district manager and oversaw 50 branches. Her portfolio included large commercial accounts, as well as a concentration in substantial construction loans. Shelly was with Bank Discont for 10 years prior to starting at Israel SIR. Shelly currently works with high net worth clients and acts as the company’s liaison to Russian speaking clients and real estate offices throughout the former Soviet Union and Russia.
